How can I use LinkedIn Groups to build traffic for my site?
In LinkedIn groups, you will find people who are discussing your industry, and others who are asking questions where you can use your expertise to answer. Find groups you want to join.
There are two ways you can find groups:
o In the search box at the top of any page, select Groups from the dropdown list on the left. Then type in your keywords or group name to search. On the search results page, you can refine your search using the checkboxes on the left.
o Move your cursor over Interests at the top of your homepage and select Groups. Select the Find a group link on the right side of the page. Type in your keywords or group name to search.
o Then, choose the right group for you:
1. Click a group's name to view its Discussions page.
2. Click the Information and settings icon near the top right.
3. Click Group profile to see more information about the group and its members.
To join a group:
Click Join on the group Discussions page or anywhere you see the button.
Respond to an invitation from a group member or manager.
By answering questions in topics of your expertise and industry, you are raising your brand’s profile and credibility, and whether or not you directly mention your website, people will check your company page, employee profiles, and LinkedIn can become a source of business leads and traffic generation for your site.
